    Negative Outlook

I worked at McKinsey & Company full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

can learn a lot of useful skill set for the daily work. good training system, good working environment.

    Cons

They do NOT respect their supporting staffs, which reflects on lower pay than market and much higher standard than market; the supporting staffs will not be count as a McK Alumni and never got invited to the Alumni events, not matter how long they worked for the firm. McK value does not applied well on the supporting staffs, especially in China.

I worked at McKinsey & Company full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Benefits are great, base salary is great, earns overtime

    Cons

You are sold on the fact that they work off of a 35 hour work week with a paid lunch hour each day, however you will never take a lunch and will probably never work only a 35 hour (or 40) hour work week, it is much more. Training isn't very helpful, it is very much a "figure it out yourself" approach, surprising for a Firm of this size and stature.
