I worked at Medacs Healthcare full-time

    Pros

    Training, Management, Salary and commission

    Cons

A little too much working on your own. Not much physical connection with other employees. But a very minor con.

I worked at Medacs Healthcare full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

There are a lot of great people who work there and I did learn a lot but mostly because I sought out the information myself.

    Cons

Management. The senior executive team are amongst the worst I have encountered. They lack strategy, are unapproachable and old-fashioned in their outlook. Everything just feels very tired and they constantly seem to be behind the curve. There is a real lack of transparency too which fosters distrust. An incredibly frustrating place to work.

I worked at Medacs Healthcare full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Easy enough work. My direct manager was nice.

    Cons

Absolutely no regard for staff or clients. Lots of pressure from director level to perform with limited reward or willingness to give any reward to staff. Waited years for a proper full time contract. No bonus structure for the expendable extended hours crew and abandoned their own year on year pay rise scheme. Wouldn't recommend anybody work for them.

I worked at Medacs Healthcare full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Experience of reviewing and researching many different health conditions and treatments which may not be available when working in a typical nurse role on a ward or in the community.

    Cons

    - Very rarely finished at 5pm due to demands of meeting targets - Unrealistic expectations of seeing a set number of cases, which is not always possible depending on what conditions each case has - Never given extra time to review audit reports - Clinical management not particularly helpful and advice given was not always accurate leading to poor audit results on reports
