I worked at Mercedes-Benz Research and Development India full-time for less than a year

    Pros

The infrastructure and comfort provided is a class apart. Colleagues are really friendly and welcoming. When it comes to being employee centric it is top notch in the industry. The perks, the benefits are a class apart. Depending on the team that you are working you have to set the right tonality and temperament. Couple of the teams are progressive, few more traditional in their processes.

    Cons

This is applicable for all companies : The HR should probe and enquire how the employee is doing. If their performance is getting hampered due to their equation to their supervisor or not. What needs to be addressed is what is going wrong and how should it be worked around. The HR might be handling so many different projects at a time that this might become a challenge. But it is very essential nonetheless. Specific...

I have been working at Mercedes-Benz Research and Development India full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Food is free for Insurance is free

    Cons

Only testing projects, all members in team behave like manger without technical knowledge. Not at all recommended for who wants to learn. Bad management. Its one of the easiest way to clear the technical interview to get in.

    Advice to Management

Please bring development projects, do not give fake promises while hiring people. Hiring process should be improved. All managers just wanted to increase their team count just to get their promotion. Kindly do not give a lead/higher position unless he/she is capable of doing all things including technical.

I worked at Mercedes-Benz Research and Development India full-time

    Pros

I worked as an Android Developer. Business trips to Germany (almost everyone goes to one) Free food

    Cons

Warning: This is a client-based company in the disguise of Daimler AG. It's just all of the clients are multiple brands of Daimler AG. They literally get funding and stuff for projects from Germany. Freedom to change the code base (may depend on the project always though..) but almost no one seems to care about how the code is written. They dont even follow basic architectures. This should be a norm for a brand like...

    Advice to Management

Introduce some basic tests with DevOps to maintain code quality. (I never even saw a single project with even a build server in my department with some 20+ teams.
