    -good partners -flex opportunities -good company history

    Cons

    -limited pipeline -micromanaging -loads of admin -too many meetings

    Advice to Management

    Customer-facing employees should spend the majority of their time doing just that - being in front of customers. Less meetings, reports and admin is preferable and realistic.

    Family friendly, not much pressure, good numbers are not going to determine whether they keep you if there is a layoff so don't stress over them

    Good pay and benefit package. Merck is ethical and has a rich history in pharmaceuticals and developing life changing medicines.

    Cons

    Endless downsizing, no stability. Work/life balance is continually challenged. The industry as a whole is undergoing major changes like the rest of healthcare which is the driver for fewer jobs and much larger territories.

    Great products, great people, they pay well. Love the pension! They use to have novel drugs, but that is in the past

    Cons

    Culture is changing for the worse. Managers are getting pressure to micro manage. Merit raises are minimal. Objectives are unrealistic. Groundhogs day everyday. They spend a lot of focus on oncology sales force.

    Help your reps sell as opposed to looking for a way to break them down
