The benefits are good, the top medical plan pays out like a slot machine. The Short Term Disability plan is also good.. I also met one of my best friends there..

Downsides to working at MetLife: Micromanagement, Management that feels that they must belittle every employee that they possibly can, unless you're doing the job to their exact specification, which is just about impossible. Minimum Call center goals that are impossible to reach, Policyholders and Supervisors that mentally abuse you, and face no recourse from senior management. The code of conduct isn't held to standard against all employees, just those who are non-management. Systems and hardware that are 20+ years old. Promotions given on the "Good ole boy" system. Employee Relations is a joke.

Good benefits Close to RTP Near a lake and trail if a walk in the woods is needed

1) Too many people in management positions that are not leaders 2) Say one thing a do another which results in low employee satisfaction.
