Pros
Great benefits, office job hours are great for work-life balance. Which you need because you won't love your job here.
Cons
Little opportunity or support for growth. Office politics is nasty, too much inter-departmental bickering. Management is the Peter Principle in action.

Great Benefits and if you enjoy working with Trains and by yourself it is a great job
Cons
Long shifts and extra board may take a while to build seniority and bid on another position. I worked the midnight shift for the first two years

Management is adversarial. Nepotism is rampant. Systems outdated. Culture not great.
