I have been working at Midwestern University full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Midwestern offers the best benefits I have ever had and they keep adding new benefits! The President/CEO is a wonderful woman who seems to really care about her employees and consider them in every decision she makes. Great work/life balance and love my co-workers!

    Cons

None as far as I am concerned. It does seem that each department has its own culture and some departments seem to have more issues than others. Also, some jobs seem to have limited room for advancement so if that is important to you be sure to ask about it before you take the job.

    Advice to Management

    Keep up the good work!

I have been working at Midwestern University full-time for less than a year

    Pros

The benefits are good and the only reason people stay and be miserable.

    Cons

The company is ran like a dictatorship. There are rules for EVERYTHING. Management does not genuinely care for anyone except themselves. Besides that, the management creates drama instead of diffuses it.

    Advice to Management

Be kind to employees, do not create drama, do not lie in the interview that there are positions to move forward in, get your employees opinions and care what they think. Also, HR is no help when it comes to telling them anything because they are buddies with the higher up management they just push your problem to the side and do not care.

    Pros

Great Benefits, Beautiful Camus, Time Off is AMAZING! Dr. G. really values her employees.

    Cons

Some people are not very nice, and look down upon the support staff. They need to get rid of employees who do not contribute.

    Advice to Management

    Need to clean house!
