I have been working at MillerCoors full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

Beer comps and some really good people to work with.

    Cons

I have worked for Coors for 17 years and I have watched spiral downhill. You can tell SABMiller people want to take the Coors brands down. Very sad.

I worked at MillerCoors for more than 10 years

    Pros

Company always paid well. A lot of diverse jobs. Pretty fair benefits.

    Cons

Miller Brewing courted Coors, which eventually ended with Coors purchasing them from SAB; however, not until Miller had replaced Coors leadership with theirs. All that interests them is the bottom line. They cut costs, labor, make random uninformed decisions, and will not accept input from anyone knowledgeable.

    Pros

Free beer every month, steady paycheck, overtime available. on site general practice doctor. onsite gym. good benefits

    Cons

work life balance is getting worse. the company always wants to cut budgets, and headcount, which requires more overtime of current employees. the premium wage gap that Coors used to have over other employers in the are has been shrinking

I have been working at MillerCoors full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

Good benefits and pay. Work from home options and summer hours for Corporate Staff. Global opportunities with the new parent company Molson Coors.

    Cons

Age Discrimination! If you are 50-55 you will no longer be considered for movement. Common tactics used are; higher degree required to move another level/same level, or below performance reviews so no movement allowed. Management ask employees when they are planning on retiring. Preferential treatment in Milwaukee/Chicago VS Golden. Suppose to be a Global Company but majority of new people hired are 35 and under and located in Milwaukee/Chicago.

I worked at MillerCoors full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

A few of the managers did are about your personal development and career advancement.

    Cons

"Good old boy mentality". The Hispanic market has long overlooked the Coors Light brand. An entire Hispanic Sales team was developed in hopes to penetrate the market and try to increase share. The team was under supported, and was often dismissed by upper level management as a misdirection. In short: publicly the company pretended to care about the Hispanic consumer, but racism (specific to Hispanic) was prevalent throughout the organization, dating back several decades.

I worked at MillerCoors full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Coors and Coors Light are quality beers; perhaps the merger with Miller improved their treatment of marketing employees.

    Cons

In the early '80's when I worked for Coors, the Coors family knew how to brew beer, but treated its marketing management employees as if they are things and not human beings.

I have been working at MillerCoors full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

Hard to compete with salary and free beer. Profit margins are excellent in the business. Molson Coors ownership should be an improvement.

    Cons

I'm a white male is my biggest challenge. When the Leader of the organization's Supply chain sends a company wide email stating "30% female and 18% people of color" is a goal at a particular management level it was the nail in the coffin. Although, before the email it was widely practiced that minorities, especially the unqualified, had the inside track. Don't worry about knowing how to do your job just be there and you're golden.
