Pros
Have been a part of the Mirum since past 10 years. Some of the most important aspects that motivated me to serve the organisation for such a long tenure. 1. Work Environment 2. Learning at each level 3. Growth 4. Access to top management 5. Flexible Working hours 6. Work Life Balance
Cons
For Mirum, I do not think there are any critical pointers that I can highlight.

Pros
I had a good experience here. The work was challenging at times but I also had a good work/life balance. Great collaboration between different city offices, too.
Cons
The big pain points I had were with HR. When I asked for a certain salary range, they couldn't meet it. When I asked for more vacation time to make up for that instead, they said no problem. Even though I had documented proof of this, after I started I was informed that my pto was the same as everyone else's and they couldn't accommodate like mentioned. And when I needed a longer time off period to help my family after an unexpected death, they suggested I use my vacation time since the bereavement policy was very short. I wasn't asking for weeks off, literally just three extra days.

Unsure week after week, if there will be enough hours for me

Not the place to grow and succeed
4 Oct 2019 - Associate Creative Director in Chicago, ILRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
You get to own a lot of your work. If you're a creative you get the freedom to bring lots of ideas to the table. Brainstorms are generally a rewarding process with people eager to pitch in and get concepts to a good place. The new Chicago office space is pretty nice with lots of conference rooms and casual spaces to meet. Work/life balance is generally pretty good.
Cons
Most of the leadership is disconnected from the day to day work. They do a drive by of the staff and then head back to their side of the office. Not many chances to really stand out and shine. You could lead teams and own projects for months and leadership has no idea. Projects get put into decks, sent out and maybe get produced. They've had trouble finding new business and can't win any big pitches. It seems like every year around late winter or early spring there's a round of layoffs. Sooner or later you'll wind up there if you don't get fed up and quit outright. Raises and promotions don't happen all that often, but they'll try and tell you that happy hours are just as good.

Pros
Junior and intermediate coworkers are relatively "young" in the 25-40 range. Work-life balance is best; most except for senior types don't stay past 5pm Generally pleasant coworkers. People are respectful of each other's roles. Opportunities to climb in client services and creative roles, but not tech. Beautiful glass windowed office and comfy designer furniture. Dog friendly office, a foozeball table and bagels and coffee in the kitchen. Beer on Friday afternoons if that's your kind of thing. Most managers are not micromanage-y. Work from home or taking medical appointments is possible with permission from supervisors
Cons
A very lean revolving door agency. Junior-intermediate work is repetitive, whilst senior level people are extremely overwhelmed by last minute client requests, thus no mentorship. Long stretches without core spots like HR or QA filled. More of a waterfall-style (not agile) place. Little to no feedback on performance. Most managers are disorganized and often overpromise deliverables. Over-reliance on hiring freelancers to do sudden influxes of work or tanking projects No raises or bonus plan.
