I have been working at MobileIron full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Free breakfast, evening snacks. Subsidized lunch.

    Cons

Not a friendly place for new mothers. WFH is a basic flexibility which even the Constitution has a provision for women returning from maternity leave. But the micro managing managers don't allow. And HRs are just puppets to nod head. The strategy is changed from full time employee hiring to cheap contract based hiring. There are very few permanent workers and mostly contractors who work more for less pay.

    Advice to Management

Get good managers who see what work is done and not from where it is done. Get good HRs who can open their mouth in front of managers to speak for employees.

    I worked at MobileIron full-time

    Pros

It had a good culture with lots of perks. There’s a lot of learning experience as most of development work used to happen in India and it wasn’t treated as an off shore location.

    Cons

The only down side was employees talking about other employees and politics rather than technical work in the free time which might be common in companies located in India.

I worked at MobileIron full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

    * Work life balance * Flexible work hours * Great pentry , great transport facilities

    Cons

    * As already listed in most of the reviews leadership changes is affecting lot of existing employees, they are trying to replace most of the employees with contractors * Pay difference in existing employee who is there from a long time and new employee with less experience is tremendous * This is especially for someone who is planning to join Quality Engineering organisation - if someone is planning to join it... think twice , Quality Engineering is leading by some of the highly unqualified persons they dont have any technical knowledge and there managerial skills are very poor. * Hikes and promotions are totally biased , no 360 review

I have been working at MobileIron full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

    1. Reasonably decent work 2. Work-life balance 3. Good Colleagues, though many good people are already gone. 4. Decent salary

    Cons

    1. In my humble opinion, new engineering management is not qualified to lead the company 2. New engineering management showed door to all existing engineering leaders who worked for long time in Mobileiron 3. New engineering is trying to do many changes without understanding complexity of the change. 4. Bringing in subpar contractors is not going to help company in long run, I don't understand why contractors are... hired when there is not much work for full time employees. 5. All good people are left the company already. Please don't join MI unless you have absolutely no other option.

I have been working at MobileIron full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Good compensation and benefits. Robust products though cloud product needs lot of improvement. Few good people left to work with.

    Cons

-New engineering leadership of about ten people is entirely hired from same company and is completely unprofessional and incompetent. They blatantly favor their group of people for promotions without any fairness and accountability.Too many politics within the division. Engineering culture has now become like a service company. Critical projects are outsourced and there is no scope for career growth. Talented... people are leaving the company. -No innovation in the last few years and the company is not growing as much as it is expected to be.

I worked at MobileIron full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Amazing perks like cab , fully stacked work cafe , work life balance , flexible working hours.

    Cons

Direction of company is not right by hiring sub standard contractors as substitute of quality engineers Management says its my way or highway . They are not connected with engineers and understanding their issues. Processes are non existent or very weak. There is no point in hiring manager in US when whole team is working out of India. There are multiple such teams who has to sync up just because manager is in US.

    Advice to Management

Start listening than just talking about grand plans for company . Everyone around is not motivated to work with you guys.
