I worked at NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory full-time for less than a year

        Pros

NASA JPL is an extremely stimulating environment: it has simply been a pleasure and a rare occasion of incredibly rapid development to work on very challenging scientific issues while mentored by the most influential scientists in the world.

        Cons

Sometimes you have the impression you are not living in the everyday life world, as everything you see/experience while at JPL is so advanced and cutting-edge to seem even far-fetched at times.
