    Pros

    Gud for HR and Finance as both these department control engineers, best for HR as they are the most powerful group and even a lower level HR executive can control and give command to higher level of executives of other department.

    Cons

    Locations are very remote and corporate executives have better facilities,employees of sites are unfairly treated and their compensation is less con para le to employees working in corporate office,no consistant policy,- every year policies change,companies growth depends on government and at any time government can make it sick like air india or bsnl.

    Connectivity can be a problem in some locations.
    Seniors sometimes resist changes in the system.

    Don't pay bonuses only on the basis of seniority and age.

    Job security, township residential facility , medical for self and dependants, competitive salary wrt industry peers.

    Cons

    Remote locations, no Avenue for spouse employment opportunities if posted in remote areas. Newer projects doesn't have proper school facility.

    Advice to Management

    Provide facility to keep family at anywhere in India. To and fro visit from stations to family members bimonthly or monthly like ONGC.

    Pros

    Best pay package, perks, medical, welfare etc. are the best in NTPC Limited, along side best work culture.

    Cons

    Some of its projects are just coming up and are in remote locations as any of its projects, where availability of infrastructure takes time.
