During my time at Natus Medical, I obtained personal satisfaction being part of a company whose overall mission is to improve patient lives and support a diverse medical device portfolio. I got stretch assignments across different areas that helped me develop as a professional, and our team is highly motivated with an emphasis on excellence. My team has a lot of flexibility to support work-life balance which I really appreciated. The environment is very good for those who tend to be adaptable, self-starters who take ownership of projects and run with it. If you prefer a high amount of structure and day-to-day supervisory oversight, you may not enjoy it as much. Great place if you are looking for a chance to make meaningful change happen and really exciting to see how our products help people in their everyday lives.

The company is still developing toward the mature infrastructure and culture that you find at very large companies but has the right people with passion and motivation to get us there and provides a lot of professional development opportunities to help streamline best practices and procedure. The business has a tendency to pivot too quickly sometimes without giving things a chance to take root and grow.

Great colleagues, and management that wants to see you succeed and grow/develop you. Products that make a difference. A lot of opportunities. Great pay and decent benefits.

A bit unstructured. Former upper management did not listen to employees and kept making the same mistakes. Could be a bit toxic at times with upper management being harsh on employees. Also, were not able to solve the issues we had. However, new CEO is in place and new upper management, and hear they are making the changes needed so this might be gone now.

They Treat operator staff like animals, 3rd class humans to be precise. HR are a joke. Won't deal with issues in a fair manner. Company don't believe in pay rises and rewarding long hours and hard work. Engineers are also treated like dirt. Poorly paid and expected to do crazy hours to get projects done for very unreasonable deadlines. It's a one man show dictatorship at the top.

Actively seeking innovation and development of new products. Encouraging hardworking and team collaboration. Talent and contributions are counted.

Cons

Sometimes meetings can be not effective.
