Pros
I noticed an area in which I might help students by writing a program to make their lives easier. My supervising instructor was very encouraging and said that, as long as I kept up with my normal responsibilities, I might go ahead. You can turn this into a coding opportunity, which you can put on your résumé. You just have to find it.
Cons
Neumont's payment system doesn't handle out-of-staters very well. You can get it to work in the end, but it's extra paperwork on your side.
