    Pros

Great benefits, compensation, people caring about people, great reputation.

    Cons

Room for growth varies on department. There is constant change... It can be tough to navigate such a large organization with 45,000 employees.

    Doesn't Recommend
    Negative Outlook
    No opinion of CEO

I have been working at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital full-time

    Pros

working for a prestigious organization can open doors. Benefits are decent. Time off is decent.

    Cons

upper management does not really care about the middle folks. Double standard set between the clinical and facilities world. High turn around with managers. VP leadership is not good.

    Advice to Management

Actions speak louder than words. It really wouldn't hurt to give staff more. VP's need to take a "hit" sometimes and sacrifice for their people if they truly cared.

I have been working at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Best direct management team ever! Will always have your back and accommodating. Encourage Growth and team work. Benefits great! Tuition reimburse reasonable!

    Cons

Overwhelming and not enough resources. Department doesn't get the respect and very under resourced from upper managements. Company is very unorganized and has too many tenured people who let systems break continuously

    Advice to Management

Let out the old and bring in the new. Time for a restructure

I have been working at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Room for growth, encouragement from management to better yourself, opportunities to get involved in unit, high pay, amazing benefits, great tuition reimbursement, ratios that are appropriate, lots of chances to learn something new

    Cons

No great food options for night shift, must build hospital seniority in order to move shifts, difficult to get a job there without knowing someone, they will cut your health insurance if you go on an LOA before a full year of employment

    Advice to Management

Continue to work on yourselves and encourage your nurses and other employees. So far everyone is doing great.
