I worked at Norwegian Cruise Line full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Fun environment! You get to work with people from all over the world. If you love working with kids and entertaining people you will love it.

    Cons

Small living corners and long contracts. On Shore Management doesn't bother to know on board employees or help with placement to preferred ships.

I have been working at Norwegian Cruise Line for more than a year

    Pros

You are paid to see the world and play active games with children with like minded people. Step into a new place each day and experience culture like never before.

    Cons

You work long hours depending on the season, ship and manager. There are no weekends or days off and definitely it’s not for the feint hearted. There’s also a big outlay in cost before stepping on the ship.

I worked at Norwegian Cruise Line for more than 3 years

    Pros

Working for a cruise line in the entertainment department has lots of perks, usually you only have 1 room mate. You have plenty of chances to visit the ports and even enjoy the tours. Depending on your shift you may dine in the restaurants and perhaps see a show.

    Cons

Long hours during sea days. The crew mess does not always have edible food, the pay is not great but room and board is taken care of.

    Cons

Scheduling is not very flexible if you need to have shorter or longer contracts or vacations.

I have so many great memories from working on Norwegian Cruise Lines. It is a family friendly cruise line that makes you feel as you are family as well. Great product and wonderful contract locations.

    Cons

Due to the nature of the industry, you are required to work at times of 70 hours a week.
