I worked at Norwegian Cruise Line

    Pros

Great pay...that’s it. I guess travel

    Cons

Long hours with no days off for 5 months. Tight crew rooms with a curtain as your only source of privacy. Crew mates are disgusting and rude. Barely enough time to actually enjoy your travels. Gross food served to employees. I could go on. 10/10 don’t recommend

I have been working at Norwegian Cruise Line full-time for more than a year

    Pros

You can make loads of money, people in the dept are making 6 figures. Great benefits No degree necessary Travel at "semi" reduced rates Become an insider of the cruising industry Sales Focused Great place to work and make money Contests are always running, winnings include: latest iphone, plasma tv, tons of giftcards, extra leads, vacation holidays, free cruises, spa passes to hotels etc Growing Opportunities

    Cons

Expect Long Hours Rules to Not apply evenly Seats always changing You have to give it a minimum of a year to see any of your work come back to you If you don't like the idea of sales, or hate constantly being told no, you might not like the job High Turnover - mainly because people find other options, or they can't deal with the sales culture if you're social with people to your immediate left and right, it might not be the best place for you since you would have to focus on your job
