    Pros

WLB Good amount of leave Gratuity after one year

    Cons

"Danish are best" attitude works in this company Too much politics Managers talk about employee engagement but practically they overlook employees problem fixed salary hike no salary band few people got promotion after one year from joining and reason was that they had done good job in their previous companies!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Managers are only concern about their 3P and so don't want to nurture new ideas

    Advice to Management

Try to fix all all "Cons"

I have been working at Novo Nordisk full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

    1. Work life balance apply only for lower level jobs 2. Gratuity is paid every year 3. Frequent offsites and alcohol in star hotels with department head 4. If you are a favourite of boss you can survive easily.

    Cons

    1. Feedback culture is non sense. Its a tool to target people 2. NN way is the most misused vision statement. Management team only talk of it to please their Danish boss. 3. No support from department head or management as they are not capable. They only enjoy 4. Too much politics within. Beware. 5. No job security. you can be thrown out anytime by your boss without notice if you are not in good books 6. one of 50 Best places to work is fake. Company pays to the agency to get such award.

I have been working at Novo Nordisk for less than a year

    Pros

Very good work-life balance, chilled environment at the same time as hard work

    Cons

Difficult to get promoted, and very high taxes from the danish government lead to low salaries (being an intern at least)

I have been working at Novo Nordisk full-time

    Pros

Invests in its people; actually cares about changing patient lives; great products

    Cons

Hopefully being fixed, but if I have to say: Rigid; Slow-moving with outdated IT; Slow at moving into digital health etc. ; a lot of Danish men in senior positions

    Advice to Management

We need to become more agile, take faster decisions, and go into digital. NN needs to be a service provider and not and insulin supplier.

    Positive Outlook

I have been working at Novo Nordisk full-time for less than a year

    Pros

    - Good benefits - Stable company

    Cons

    - Everything involves politics between the Senior Leadership Team and the managers. And it impacts you no matter at what level you are working. -No respect for ethical and hard working people. They are seen as obstacle and are made unwanted. - No vision for the company. It keeps on taking load from the Danish sites that are not performing well. The production goal keeps on increasing every year breaking everyone's back. Only production people can hire people. It is like pulling teeth if the support team has to hire extra staff. - No planning in any department. That ruins work relationship and creates lots of negativity and impacts work life balance. - There is no transparency in vision, mission, target, roles and responsibilities or anything. - The company is run like a clan. Who ever is closest to the boss and can shout the loudest gets heard. - Constant changes in middle management and continuous reorganization which makes hard to work. It is like round chair. They keep rotating mangers from one department to another regardless of their prior experience. - Work is not defined well. There is no control over the work load. - Your decisions are over ruled by your managers. There is constant back stabbing and no support from the managers. - No career advancement unless you are ready to bend backwards. There are no mentors in the company who believe in developing promising people. The programs by HR are joke and a farce.

    Advice to Management

Take a deeper look at the management style. It is behaving like a clan. Take care of your employees. Lately there is a complaint about people leaving the company. Take it seriously. People do not feel valued anymore. People do not think their work is important. The only thing important in the company is manipulating trackers to meet KPIs and keep SLT disillusioned.
