Organization is fun to work for and has a lot of motivated people to help a great cause. The hiring process runs smooth and seems organized. Very friendly....
Cons
No raises for employees since I started and even after I left....they push volunteering big time and raise more money every year but yet still haven't put anything towards the employees for years. Politics play a big role in this organization so, beware.
The relationship you build with the clients is excellent and inspiring.
Cons
Upper management seems uninterested in new ideas. Morale is low. You aren't compensated nearly what you should be (OV knows this, as well). Most supervisors have proven they aren't qualified for their jobs. Same supervisors preach/push relational skills but then lack severely when it comes time for them to display them to clients and staff.
