I have been working at OpenBet full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

In normal circumstances it is generally a good place to work. Flexible working schedule, good work/life balance, nice working environment.

    Cons

At the time of need (COVID-19 crisis), the company didn't seem to care about its employees and took immediate actions to reduce its loss by firing people, reducing payments and applying furloughs.

I have been working at OpenBet full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Openbet has some really nice and friendly people. The company treats its employees well (at least by today's standards) and there's a general culture of openness and understanding which makes for a pleasant working environment. There are no forced overtimes, or excessively long hours, so you can have a healthy work-life balance. There are also opportunities to travel around the world which is a nice plus.

    Cons

This company is "customer-centric" to a sick degree. The are two basic pillars in Openbet: 1) The customer is always right and 2) any technological advancements must be funded by a customer in order to be realized. On top of that, this is a big company. This means: ridiculously outdated tools, nightmarish monolithic code, bloated software products, lots of bureaucracy, chaotic communication between teams and lots of repetitive and mundane tasks for developers.
