    Pros

    - Excellent customer focus - Excellent community engagement and reputation - Flexible work environment with focus on work/life balance - Strong team culture - Good perks on Optus products and other affiliated companies. Access to Mates Rates app that provide discounts for non-Optus products specifically for Optus staff

    Cons

    - Ongoing internal system issues - Internal IT department is slow in responding, often close cases that are unresolved and IT portal is hard to use when raising internal faults - Information about new or existing roles is only readily available when a role is being recruited for which makes it difficult when working on a career path

I have been working at Optus full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

For such a large organisation the ability to reach out to your VP is fantastic. The visibility we have from the CEO down is great. Work life balance is not just talked about it is widely being done by thousands of our staff members. Close to public transport with our own bus to the city and the main shopping centre which there is also a shuttle bus for during lunch hours. On the job training and coaching is readily available to all and our community presence especially in times of need is outstanding.

    Cons

There can be lack of accountability due to the large scale of the company. Often look for quick fixes which often require re-work on projects. Outdated systems and not enough training when releasing new systems or for new employees.

    Pros

Good talented people with lots of potential. Exceptional work place and campus in Mac Park and envious work life balance for employees.

Poor and unclear Organisational strategy approach and bad decision making as being ill advised from the top. 3. Skills of People not utilised for full potential. 4. secretiv and (non transparent) surprise (in)decisions by executives that impacts company (OB) culture has changed drastically to worse over the last 6-8 years with 2 changes in CEOs in OB.

I have been working at Optus full-time for more than a year

    Pros

I've never been more empowered and engaged in my role. It's a really exciting workplace. The salary is competitive, parental leave is above average (including paying super annuation), flexible work, work-life balance, great employee events, and learning opportunities. The Optus shuttle bus helps make it easy getting to Macquarie Park.

    Cons

    Some processes can be frustrating.
