    I worked at Palantir Technologies

    Pros

Very flexible work environment. Lots of very smart engineers focused on creating a product. Very smooth and distributed decision-making, with almost no conflict apparent. Great perks and social events.

    Cons

Frat culture, which could be a good or a bad thing. Skewed gender ratio especially among engineers.

I have been working at Palantir Technologies full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

complete autonomy: it's up to you to decide the kind of company you want Palantir to become and make it in your own image; the same for your work with customers (this is particular to business development (BD)) incredible leadership: the smartest people in the world lead this company; I've met the most strategic geniuses here peers: you learn an incredible amount from your peers sky is the limit: no one will ever limit you from achieving more; the entire company exists to help you increase your impact

    Cons

the autonomy + sky is the limit means that only you can decide how much work you want to get done each day; this means many people work extremely hard. you have to learn to manage your own calendar and energy levels. diversity and inclusion is difficult in the tech industry in general... as a cis hetero white male, I'm not the right person to comment on this, but I understand PLTR is far from the ideal. I think it's a great place to work and the people who work here have the best intentions, so I don't think it's worse than other tech companies, but that's not a great excuse.

I worked at Palantir Technologies full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    Benefits are wonderful, unlimited PTO

    Cons

They expect you to be on call 24/7, weekends, holiday, vacation. I got so burnt out it was awful. The company also has a very strange system of hierarchy and if you aren’t playing nice CONSTANTLY and being over apologetic all the time, other admins will start getting cliquey. The entire environment is incredibly unhealthy and bad for mental health.
