    I have been working at Paymentsense full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    Having worked for 3 other direct competitors of PaymentSense (1 very large competitor) doing tele appointing and only joining the business on 3rd December 2018 I have to say how truly amazed I am by everyone and everything. From the amazing "beer Fridays" to the wonderful town Hall meetings and numerous other lovely incentives. My colleagues in both Hull offices are outstanding, I can literally approach anyone and be greeted with a smile. I have been completely blown away. I've always been what some people would say an "overly chirpy chap" and I have been known to start singing at 8.45am.. Even on a Monday morning! That's how much I love coming to work. I'm writing this review with my pugs on me knee and a huge smile on my face on a Friday evening thinking "I'm so glad I moved to Hull and found paymentsense"...

    Cons

    My only regret is not joining the Paymentsense family sooner!

    Keep doing what you are doing. :)

    I have been working at Paymentsense full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    They look after their staff
    They work hard
    The play hard
    They approach each situation with the end user/customer in mind
    Very supportive - The sky is the limit

    Cons

    The environment is agile, they are still a startup and this isn't for everyone. People have struggled to come to terms with how they operate. This is not negative, but something people need to be aware of.

    Pros

    Good work culture, flexible working hours, good employee benefits. The company is ambitious, and hence there is opportunity to grow.

    Cons

    I have not much to add here.

    Good money if in sales department

    Cons

    No more fast paced than other payments firms, but management flip from one idea to the next without giving anything time to bed in and everyone runs around like headless chickens to keep up

    Advice to Management

    Keeping staff happy is not just about fancy chairs and free coffee.

    Pros

    The company is going through a very exciting time of high growth and transformation translating into lots of growth opportunities for those hungry for new challenges. Not a dull day since I joined! Great culture, very friendly people and non-hierarchical environment.

    Cons

    This environment is not for everyone. You have to be comfortable with change and ambiguity

    Keep thinking big!

    Pros

    I can't say without working with another similar company.

    Cons

    They have a useless administration and sales support back of office. They never seem to process orders on time or property so I fnd myself forever using my own time chasing these things up, I'm talking hours out of my day just to get the product to the customer when I should be selling. They are growing their sales team without a care for the customer or reputation from what I can see. The work you do in comparison to what you are paid is not worth it in my experience but that's what it has been an experience.

    Pros

    Good set up if you work hard and are willing to put the hours in. Great wage if you are good at it.

    Cons

    Down days are are expected in sales

    Good structure but better explaining of company structure would be good.

    Fantastic team culture! Movie Club, Cheese Club, Fitness Classes, Away Days and Dog friendly - just to name a few of the highlights. Amazing fun team and great place to work. Would highly recommend.
