I worked at Persistent Systems (India) full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

It was a great company to work with until last 3-4 years. Variety of work, ability to explore new technologies and sensible leadership to ensure that people get their due . All seems to have been vanishing now for past few years

    Cons

In last 4-5 years, in a frenzy of growing "somehow", new talent was brought in by compromising company values and culture and company is paying price of it now. Moreover, a fat and inefficient support/shared services are adding to company costs but are not adding to company growth and that is taking toll in terms of not being able to provide good salaries to people at all levels. Good talent is moving out because of that. In a bid to be more and more money-minded, the technology focus is diminishing

    Advice to Management

Bring back old trusted guys and empower them to get right talent in order to grow in "value" and not in volume.
