- 2.023 Jun 2017Module LeadFormer Employee, more than 3 years
Pros
1. Good work in some of the projects. Beneficial for freshers. 2. A company with a vision, particularly from the CEO. Expanding at a good pace. 3. Good, down to earth and humble CEO.
Cons
1. Work culture deteriorating over the time. Inclining towards the cliched 'service culture'. For ex. strict timing and attendance policies, restricted time slot (eve after 5) for recreational area. 2. Resource allocation - a big time failure. Feels like they drive the entire company. 3. Unfriendly and strict HR and Bench policies. In Persistent it is completely the employee's responsibility to get yourself billable into a project. Your aspirations about any kind of work will not be entertained by the resource allocation team. And if you are not able to find yourself a project in within a stipulated period of 2 months you will be asked to go on a notice period. Kind of 'Mutual Separation'. Extremely disturbing. 4. Salary increments in single digit mostly and pay hikes to lateral recruits also just about average 30%.
