Pros
- will get ample opportunity and chances to get hands on latest technology - provide good food and transport services - ample social activities and events
Cons
- resource management is worse, you can get next task in any technology irrespective of what you have been working till date - appraisal system is manipulative indirectly - poor project management in terms of making a balance MPP with balanced personal & work life - comp off facilities are just to on paper. In actual, by the time you avail the comp off they elapse as project agile mode doesn't allow you to take leave. IRONIC - there are lots of social activities in Persistent, but only admin , finance, RM, HR and ELTP(freshers) got chance/time to participate. Because developers/QA are busy in project deliveries, since poor project management always keep you overloaded. - About onsite opportunity, there is no rotation practice. Because of this poor practice, Persistent has lost resources and many new Projects opportunities

Pros
1. Company is located at the heart of Pune 2. Has good reputation 3. Work life balance is good (IF YOU ARE NOT FORCED TO WORK IN NIGHT SHIFTS IN TECHNICAL SUPPORT)
Cons
1. Freshers are treated like trash. Usually they are thrown away in technical support. (I was a topper of my batch, still I was assigned to work in tech support in night shifts. So were other people from my batch) 2. Food is compulsory, and 30000 INR get deducted from the salary monthly. 3. Salary component is very tricky. You'll NEVER get what you expected from your CTC. You'll see a huge gap.
