Pros

Good salary( at least at that time)

Cons

It is a startup as you would expect a very disorganized company, but besides that, they hire and fire very quickly, they have a complete disregard of the Engineers they hire, they offer you a bigger amount than you asked for but fire you in the first 2 months if your proficiency is not 100% all the time. The only people that are all the time there with the company is a couple of friends of the CEO that are literally Juniors (or were juniors, including CTO) that were friends of him at the time of the creation of the company, what that generates is that whenever a real Senior (not talking about me, talking about architects and that higer range positions) came to the company the old ones felt threatened and made the life of the new guy impossible at the point of making him quit or just asked management to fire him. It is a very close and toxic environment, if you are junior and they offer you a good salary, take it but expet to be fired soon, if you are an Architec or a Senior Backend developer you have nothing to do at Picap.

Pros

It's a grate company that empower their employees. Management let developers take the best decision for the product health and listen to them Your concern is to get the expected results. Fulfil a schedule is not. Innovating technologies are always welcome. You'll feel like a member of a team, not a gear in a machine.

Cons

You shouldn't find bad things if you get the expected results. self-Management, as well as being proactive, is an essential skill. Trainees need to be open to build those skills fast or have them.
