Playworks philosophy of healthy community, healthy play, inclusion, and respect is apart of every day culture. There is not a day that I dread going into work. We celebrate each other's gifts, accomplishments, and passions. We have secret handshakes, eat lunch together everyday, and we simply believe in one another. It is a unique and beautiful work environment where we are all working toward a common goal: to create opportunities for safe and meaningful play for every kid.

The days get repetitive, and it is easy to just go through the motions and become un-motivated.

Direct experience working with a nonprofit and the community, working with service-minded people, work doesn't usually seem like "work", good sense of community throughout work environment

Newer and not as established organization, Issues of inconsistency with program expectations, Problems with employees leaving before contracted time is completed
