    Pros

Good HR activities, fun outings and parties. Exposure and learning to MS office. International exposure and challenging work deliverables. collaboration with other teams. Brand protiviti helps get jobs at good companies later.

    Cons

Learning stops after a year. Performance appraisal based on whims and fancies of the management, lacks transparency. High attrition within 2 years of bond period. Company benefits from attrition to recover max possible bond amount from employees. Compensation is less as per industry benchmark so expert and professional seniors are not available.

    Pros

Oppurtunity to explore Indian markets, Middle East markets and US markets (off-shore model)

    Cons

Highly Ineffecient HR Team : Half the time, the team is not even approachable. Also, some of the HR team members themselves are not aware of most of the policies. Worst part is, the experience letters are given almost after 30 days of last working day with no proper explanations for delay. The team wouldn't even respond to ex-employees w.r.t queries on full and final settlement. Worst Policies : For F&F alone, the organisation purposefully take 90 days period to process from the last working day. Also, for the purpose of F&F, 50% of salary is held back during the notice period (mind you, if the last working day falls in the month and not on the last date, the entire salary for the month is held back). Notice period: Unlike the competitors, the notice period is three months at Protiviti India. Fake Promises : Many fake promises w.r.t the exposure are made during the time of interview. Most of the people are confined to SOX testing jobs. Leadership : 1. Forget about the clients to be won and portfolios to be built, the leadership is not even cared of staffing. Protiviti has one of the worst staffing practices. Most of the projects should be worked upon on firefighting basis. 2. Some employees are adviced to leave laptop and abscond instead of granting an early relieving during the notice period. Low Salary : Salary offered at Protiviti is lesser compared to most of its peers. Travel policies : These are almost ignored by the organisation itself. People are sent on travel and visit visas abroad for official work. The top management themselves are aware of such actions and don't even bother to restrain doing such practices. Feedbacks : Feedbacks are never given with genuine intentions. They are often used to criticize employees and play with their emotions. Data handling : Employees are left with free hand to use certain free file sharing platforms to transmit data with least attention to the sensitivity of such data. No Audit tools : There are no audit tools being used in the system. Most of the softwares used by the employees (like Visio, pdffill, etc.) are freeware and are pirated. Work life balance : Poor work life balance. Employees time off/personal space is not respected at all. Resources are expected to work 24*7*365. Otherwise, they're simply judged. Infrastructure : Poor. Laptops are old. IT support is limited and remote. No proper file sharing platforms. Pirated softwares are used. Data backup and privacy controls are negligeble/improper. International Travel : No second thoughts given in sending an employee with travel and visit visa instead of business visa. There's no health insurance coverage taken for the employee for the duration of stay abroad. The employee has to burn their own pockets to meet the medical bills if fallen ill abroad (ofcourse, that particular country MDs would contribute to make the employee feel that the MD has come out all his way to pay for employee's medical bills. This might not happen always). Also, the employees are sent abroad with CVs exaggerating work experiences.
