I have been working at Providence Health & Services full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Good pay doing hybrid system. Good flexibility over hours, scheduling, and control over my practice.

    Cons

Significantly less help than Kaiser where you have lots of support and ancillary staff to off load non-physician work. I get lots of messages such as "I need help paying for this bill", "will my insurance cover this?", "can you please schedule my ultrasound appointment", "I don't know how to contact the refill line, I want you to call the pharmacy and figure it out" and so forth. There is no filter and this all goes straight to me. 80-90% of my paperwork is things like this.

    Advice to Management

Need LVN or others to help with extraneous work that should be filtered like phone calls and messages.
