I worked at Providence Health & Services part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Great benefits, including medical, dental, life insurance, paid time off, "personal enrichment days" given in addition to sick days and paid time off, numerous discounts, even a personal assistant service if needed. Amazing and intelligent people, and a fast-paced work environment. Time and a half pay if you work more than 8 hours in a day and 40 hours in a week for this position.

    Cons

Odd hours, never enough parking if you work swing shift at the hospital. Patients can sometimes be difficult, as this position requires you to request insurance and co-pays in a time when they are often in pain or receiving bad news.

    Advice to Management

My managers were amazing, and I have no advice. I would go back and work for them any day.

    Pros

Team environment. Truly practices and believes in their mission and core values. Everyone wants you to succeed!

    Cons

Didn’t have a formal leadership on boarding, however they are getting ready to roll out their newly developed program so it won’t be an issue. Even when there was t one formally, my boss made sure to connect me with various people to get what I needed.
