      Pros

The benefits were decent and until the merger it was a fairly equitable environment. Good work-life balance during the pandemic, especially in the back office area.

      Cons

Since the merger, experienced Provident employees are being overlooked and underrated compared to those from the bank that was acquired who have significantly less experience. Unfortunately this is at senior levels and has a negative impact on morale and customers.

      Pros

Good work/life balance, decent benefits and some good bosses. Probably 95% of the employees are great, my department is like a second family. My boss is willing to let me run with things and supports me if I make mistakes. Very active in the community.

      Cons

While there are some decent mid-level managers the senior management does not deal with the "uncomfortable" situations and can be dictatorial. Many managers forget we should be working towards a common goal, not an individual agenda.
