Pros

brand name and work life balance

Cons

This review is regarding prudential Bangalore india development centre which has started in Bangalore in 2020 . I have never seen such a horrible place as India prudential development centre because of following reasons --- its runs from a local we work shared location , with infrastructure that’s worse than local start up , without basic food vendor, car parking and basic hr functionality --- It was started with grand vision by ex BT leaders, of creating a product led organization pulse . They left in couple of months and left the entire Indian team on hand of Chinese management from honkong and singapore , --- These psychopath Chinese people had made the life of Indian offshore by treating them as slaves. Most initial hires from product organization like swiggy, walmart have left the organization with these changes long back --- These Chinese management now has taken full control and has no understanding of tech, data , insight or product . They will like to treat this offshore development centre as sweat shops --- The product and the platform that is developed is a joke which took 3 years to develop with shady architecture which can be developed by Indian start up in 3months as engineering team, data and product cannot see each other because of dirty politics and mud slinging --- The data team is run by Chinese guy from honkong and his henchman who calls them self-data team, without basic understanding of data engineering, ai and data science. The indian team is run by third class vendors, and few own employee, who does not the next day what work would be assigned to them. --- They are planning to launch India health, which itself is a scam without any planning, as all the leaders are people who were brought from honkong and Singapore to India are incompetent without pedigree. I will specially callout the name of the CTO. -- Prudential is itself a big name in Singapore and uk , so people are lured in india to join the organization , but this india center is specifically a sweat shop , with no india leaders were hired after the exists of old india leaders . -- I have seen most incompetent people working in this org, most taken from BT or service companies , with only criteria as boot licking of chinese bosses --Forget promotion, good work , career progression , yes WLB will be their as most people in the org dont know what to do next but you won’t get the next job as your comptency will be finished . Talk with somebody who have worked on this IDC in bangalore , they will say the same thing
