I have been working at PruittHealth full-time for more than a year

    Pros

patients and family were very pleasant

    Cons

first impression the building is extremely old and out of date and 98% of time it reeks of urine. too many patients for nurses and techs. constant turn over. way more management than floor nurses. never seen a place with more managers then people to manage. benefits are very expensive and subpar to say the least. very sad when you cant even figure out what some of this "management" does besides collect a paycheck. training...

    Advice to Management

bulldoze old decrepit smelly building. review your management positions, Pruitt is losing money paying to many lazy managers while you lose dissatisfied employees, patients and family constantly complaining about staff shortage and lack of care. maybe have enough floor nurses before padding management with buddies. better communication and training. perhaps a refresher on professionalism. look into dealing with nurses...

    Pros

The residents and their family members

    Cons

Management and they have to many chiefs and not enough indians to work and the med techs practicing outside there scopes

    Advice to Management

Needs to stop showing favoritism and do your job and be fair a cross the board that’s why you’ll at Sparks Inn have so many turnovers and people quit or just leave and don’t come back after break and get rid of all them bedbugs don’t forget about the administrators don’t know how to run the facility

I worked at PruittHealth full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Patients deserve best care, geriatrics is a special group

    Cons

Staff way overworked. Nursing turn over reflects work environment

    Advice to Management

Corporate knows only what you tell them, care should not be dictated by people who rarely walk in the building to know what obstacles exist. Speak up for your subordinates, don’t raise unrealistic standards just because corporate says so. Turnover is entirely too high....it’s expensive and not fair to patients

I have been working at PruittHealth full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Pay, flexible schedule, job opportunity, beautiful and clean facility.

    Cons

Management and corporate are a joke. Does not treat everyone equally. Pruitt does not value their staff enough.

    Advice to Management

Management should always be positive and professional and not be cut throat and inconsiderate. Value the staff and make them feel appreciated.

I worked at PruittHealth full-time for more than a year

    Pros

able to get as many hours as you would like

    Cons

Never enough staff. might not be someone to relieve you at the end of your shift, might not have relief at the end of your shift, holiday pay only if you work on Xmas day, no shift differential, no weekend shift differential, equipment that doesnt work etc...

    Advice to Management

Pruitt needs to offer their staff benefits. Nurses and other care staff do not want to work for a company that does not offer 401k, only offers ONE holiday pay, NO shift differential, NO weekend shift differential etc. This company makes a lot of money but does not give anything to their employees.

I have been working at PruittHealth full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Long history with a well established corporate organization

    Cons

Retention of staff is always a problem; corporate culture is a little strange and makes me think of a cult; priority is translated inpractice to making money above patient care

    Advice to Management

Reinforce to everyone that, in the long term, you won’t make money if patient care is not the real priority

I have been working at PruittHealth full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Caring staff that works extremely hard to care for their residents

    Cons

Horrible benefits, skeleton crew staffing, employee turnover is ridiculous. Corporate doesn't give management or their employees the proper staffing to get the job done. Not enough support for the people working the floor! Completely unorganized company to work for. Neil Pruitt is a money hungry man that doesn't care about his employees or his facilities, as long as his pockets are lined he doesn't care how short staffed...

I have been working at PruittHealth full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

co-workers become like family, if it wasn't for them most wouldn't stay; some room for advancement

    Cons

salary is not competitive despite them telling you it is; people put in "charge" that lie to upper managment/ELT and don't "paint the real picture" of what's really going on in their sites. stopped 401K match; raises are no where near the rise in cost of living. I get laughed at by family when I tell them, "I got a 2% raise", when so many companies are experiencing the rewards of a better economy now and it's passed...

    Advice to Management

instead of laying off the ones who actually do the work and make the company money, why don't you start at the top. This company has long been too top heavy. Most of whom no one even knows what it is they do exactly since it doesn't appear that they actually "work". Stop throwing extravagant parties, retreats to Amelia and staying in the Ritz Carlton for hundreds of employees and their families, spending hundreds of...
