I have been working at PruittHealth full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Stable hours, tons of PTO, (mostly) friendly coworkers, decent health insurance options

    Cons

Poor employee retention rate, excess spending by executives results constant downsizing and cut hours which has forced several employees to attempt to do the work of 2, 3, or sometimes 4 people, leading them to quickly become burned out, tired, and error prone. Also, security is slow to react to dangerous situations and they have done little to create a safe work environment.

    Advice to Management

Quit spending money on private jets and luxury SUVs, consider cutting your own salaries by around $30-$50,000 per executive so that you can retain your lower level employees and management. Create a budget, stick to it, and make improvements where you can. Many facilities are run down and poorly staffed. How can you expect to deliver quality patient care in a facility that's falling apart, and staff that are so overworked,...

I worked at PruittHealth full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Meaningful work serving a population who needs empathic care.

    Cons

I did all of the discharge planning for a large facility averaging 16 discharges a week. Some of which were very complex. I had additional responsibilities delegated to me that were outside of my job description that involved notifying patients when their insurance was not going to provide financial support for their rehab. This destroyed any report and made it difficult to get families to work with me to come up with...

    Advice to Management

The facility was its 3rd administrator right after I left. A complete overhaul needs to be done for this facility to function correctly.

      Positive Outlook
      No opinion of CEO

I worked at PruittHealth full-time for more than 5 years

      Pros

Great coworkers, great learning experience. During my time as maintenance director I learned how to rebuild power beds, and television's, installed television system, laid flooring, repaired ac units, replaced condensing units, repaired roof leaks, remodeled kitchens, painted entire building inside and out and much more. Be sure to bring your A game.

      Cons

1 paid holiday per year, no 401k match, no consistency in management. Depending on the facility it may be a one man show. Can be overwhelming for one person.

      Advice to Management

Benefits are crucial, without staff there is no Pruitt Health, work on employee moral.

I have been working at PruittHealth full-time for more than a year

      Pros

patients and family were very pleasant

      Cons

first impression the building is extremely old and out of date and 98% of time it reeks of urine. too many patients for nurses and techs. constant turn over. way more management than floor nurses. never seen a place with more managers then people to manage. benefits are very expensive and subpar to say the least. very sad when you cant even figure out what some of this "management" does besides collect a paycheck. training...

      Advice to Management

bulldoze old decrepit smelly building. review your management positions, Pruitt is losing money paying to many lazy managers while you lose dissatisfied employees, patients and family constantly complaining about staff shortage and lack of care. maybe have enough floor nurses before padding management with buddies. better communication and training. perhaps a refresher on professionalism. look into dealing with nurses...

I have been working at PruittHealth full-time for more than a year

      Pros

Some Co-Workers are helpful and kind.

      Cons

An extremely high turnover rate. This puts added stress on already overworked and understaffed employees. As management just push added work on to team members. There is no accountability between management and their failing policies. No communication between anyone just confusion. Promotions are not based on job performance or merit, they are based on who you know. Terrible benefits package that is purposefully withheld...
