I worked at PruittHealth full-time for more than a year

    Pros

able to get as many hours as you would like

    Cons

Never enough staff. might not be someone to relieve you at the end of your shift, might not have relief at the end of your shift, holiday pay only if you work on Xmas day, no shift differential, no weekend shift differential, equipment that doesnt work etc...

    Advice to Management

Pruitt needs to offer their staff benefits. Nurses and other care staff do not want to work for a company that does not offer 401k, only offers ONE holiday pay, NO shift differential, NO weekend shift differential etc. This company makes a lot of money but does not give anything to their employees.

I have been working at PruittHealth full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    It’s a job “Christian company”

    Cons

No incentives, no merit increases, no 401k match, no paid holidays including Christmas, insane health insurance costs. Obscenely profit driven.

    Advice to Management

Wouldn’t even no where to start. Management is Inconsiderate and do not value employees.

I worked at PruittHealth full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Caring for patients on hospice was rewarding.

    Cons

The company looks for ways to take advantage of employees. First, grossly underpaid. I covered 8 counties alone, traveling distances over 100 miles each way for three years. Patient care suffered because of distance and staff burn out was regular. After three years of loyal service, I wasn't even paid for my 60 hours vacation time - have to be with company at least ten years, corporate explained.

    Advice to Management

Take better care of your staff. Hospice need a to be more than just productivity and profit.

      Cons

Over worked, under paid and always short of cnas.

      Advice to Management

Treat your workers fair. Not someone you can use and abuse.

      I worked at PruittHealth full-time

      Pros

Professional working environment with patient coming first in most instances.

      Cons

Unrealistic expectations of managing and treating with poor regional leadership on knowing and understanding the daily operations in a SNF.

      Advice to Management

Regionals need to spend time in facilities and observe and watch in detail what obstacles therapist face with nursing staff. Much education is needed on ethics and billing practices.

I have been working at PruittHealth full-time for less than a year

      Pros

Long history with a well established corporate organization

      Cons

Retention of staff is always a problem; corporate culture is a little strange and makes me think of a cult; priority is translated inpractice to making money above patient care

      Advice to Management

Reinforce to everyone that, in the long term, you won’t make money if patient care is not the real priority

I worked at PruittHealth full-time for more than a year

      Pros

All the floor staff works together as a family. The patients are the number one priority to almost all the partners employed there.

      Cons

Administration has and shows favoritism. Medical insurance is so expensive!

      Advice to Management

Do not employ family if you aren’t willing to treat them the same as everyone else! That not only is unethical it is morally wrong! It can create resentment and confusion within the departments

I have been working at PruittHealth full-time

      Pros

Great coworkers. Enjoy working with the patients.

      Cons

Absurd management. All about numbers. Pretends to care, says one thing and does the exact opposite. Benefits horrible. Lots of cuts, red flags that business is hurting. 401k matching stopped, supplies difficult to obtain, zero support!

      Advice to Management

Clean house! Admins, DHS, got to go! AVP has no idea how inept they are.

      I worked at PruittHealth full-time

      Pros

The work experience at PruittHealth varies depending on the location, clinical vs administrative, and the employee's direct manager. Several departments/facilities have long-term managers who are excellent bosses who help employees manage work/life balance and advocate for advancement opportunities. Other departments/facilities have a lot of turnover in management

      Cons

Must use PTO for holidays. No employer contribution to 401K. Expensive health insurance.
