I worked at PruittHealth full-time for more than a year

    Pros

The feeling of family you get from your coworkers! The feeling of being needed and belonging. The sense of making a difference by just being there.

    Cons

Well just like family you have arguments and someone is going to get hurt or thrown under the bus. Coworkers are great as long as they are your equal put them in management and like change over night and forget who you are.

    Advice to Management

Try running a facility without your supportive staff!Deal Deal with the families, doctors, love ones, and other staff with having a closed door to hide behind.

I have been working at PruittHealth

    Pros

I love what I do; just hate the job. The facility is new and beautiful, but don't judge a book by its cover.

    Cons

Opened a new rehab/LTC facility with no clue about state regulations. CNAs are expected to serve meals as well as regular work. Hmmm...serve food, clean up poop, serve food, clean poop. What an inspiring idea. Not to mention not having gloves available because "not in the budget." That 1st administrator quit with a $100,000 bonus because of the budget surplus. 11 months later, we are on our 3rd administrator, 3rd dietary...

    Advice to Management

Go to Business 101: keep the customers happy, give what you claim to offer, and treat your staff humanely. That is what increases your bottom line. Pay up front for these, before there are more lawsuits, fines, and continuous hiring/training to pay for later.

    I worked at PruittHealth full-time

    Pros

Staff at the inpatient unit was great-everyone worked together as a team.Patient care was exceptional. Work atmosphere was harmonious and far above average.

    Cons

Corporate stepped in.New management , staff cuts. Many of the staff have left -others are looking for jobs. Patient care is now second to the bottom line...

    Advice to Management

You had a great facility with an awesome staff. Why did you try to fix something that wasn't broken?Very sad for the remaining staff and future patients....
