    Interesting industry, great colleagues and lots of change

    Cons

    Long hours, mentality that you're always contactable/available/working, even on weekends. Poor pay compared to market

    The rosters can be frustrating - seemingly more overnights and unusual pairings every roster

    I have been working at Qantas full-time for less than a year

    Pros

    Meet great people/lifelong friends, staff travel, knowledge of ticketing and reservations that can assist in future job applications.

    Cons

    Rediculous expectations by management with KPIs. Lack of support, not a very good training programme layout for new employees. You get treated like a child.

    Advice to Management

    Provide a annual or six monthly employee satisfaction survey conducted by a third party so that you really know how you can help your staff. Employ more staff to answer calls as your wait times are rediculous. Instead of letting people go because they don't turn up to work at the very difficult to get to office you have in Auckland maybe look into working from home options. You will retain alot of experienced staff.

    STOP discriminating and bullying white people I was there for a very short time I felt intimidated harassed and bullied your every move is watched, if they decide they don't like you, forget it, its all downhill from there not at all friendly not welcoming AUSTRALIAN COMPANY???? yeah those days are long gone, they're being overtaken by dnata, (Emirates) and they favour their own whats happened to this nation.
