I worked at Quicken Loans full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Surrounded by tons of knowledgeable people that are very willing to help. There are so many developers to learn from and if you ask them for help they are always willing to lend a hand. This company does not feel like everyone is under a lot of pressure to get something done, which can be great because it doesn't feel like its every employee for themselves.

    Cons

The transition from an intern to a full-time employee is a little awkward and should be handled differently. Overall, the quality of your work as an intern likely won't be taken into consideration (or your team leader review) in the decision for hiring IF you are being interviewed by another team. If the team you interned on is not hiring, you will be "sold" to another team and you will have to interview with them which feels like a completely external applicant interview.

I worked at Quicken Loans full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

You can really find WLB if you don't want to work alot

    Cons

Where should I start? I worked in technology and I found these unacceptable: 1. Very bureaucratic. although they seem to let you forget about it by change the name manager - team leader , employee to team member. But it's still very bureaucratic. 2. Anti-technology. They say they want technology, but what they want is just the flash side, the cream on the top. The management still make administration decisions instead of technology decisions. 3. Pays too low and no incentive. You can do the minimum and still paid well, and be a team super star and get a small check at the end of the year. It's ridiculous.

I have been working at Quicken Loans for less than a year

    Pros

A super flat organization, I can directly contact VP's and executives and ask for 1-on-1 meetings as an intern. Everybody is trying to help you.

    Cons

    Genuinely have not experienced any.

    Pros

Even though it's remote, they still try to make you feel welcome. I like how they always try to get back to you, even throughout the interview process.

    Cons

They could not get my address right to ship things to me.
