Stay far away if you work in media

      Pros

Nice office, smart people, good creative agency

      Cons

There is a reason why R/GA Media does not win the large media accounts. The media team operates as a startup even though they are part of a large network with an abundance of resources. Every person works on multiple accounts and believe this is a disservice to the clients as they do not receive a fully dedicated media team. There are only a couple of full time media accounts and the rest are projects that are won only because the creative teams have won the accounts and the media team will perform smaller projects.

      Cons

How happy you are largely depends on the project you get put on.

      Lost it's way a little

      Sep 14, 2019 - Executive Producer

      Business Outlook

      Pros

      - Some really smart people across the company - Opportunity to make some genuinely innovative and creative work - Work as an international network, which allows for bringing in the right talent on projects

      Cons

      - Lost it's way a little - Lots of the good people are leaving - If you aren't in the NY office (in R/GA NA at least), management don't pay as much attention to you or the work

R/GA doesn't give junior talent a fighting chance

      Jun 2, 2019 - Anonymous Intern

      Pros

REALLY smart people Beautiful office Fast paced

      Cons

R/GA doesn't do a good job at training/retaining junior talent. Their job listings are mainly for senior-level positions and barely anyone there is right out of college. There are interns over the summer, but a lot of us had little work and weren't properly trained/exposed to the business because everyone is seemingly too busy to take on the responsibility of an intern. Really disappointing, because there are so many smart people there and, in theory, could be a great learning opportunity... The next generation of talent def won't be coming out of R/GA because R/GA rarely give us the opportunity or tools to be great
