I worked at RBC full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Seems challenging to get fired, predictable schedules and pay, paid vacation, inclusive environment, great benefits.

    Cons

Employees either work really hard for little recognition, or they don't try hard and are lazy without much consequence. They expect a lot for little pay, and their raises aren't great. Expect you to stay late regularly as they pay salary. Pressure to sell regardless of role or incentives. As the industry changes, they expect more knowledge and credentials without much financial incentive or time given to attain these credentials. Expected to work later shifts without incentives.
