    Pros

High standards in consumer experience and delivery. Data Services central to mindset shift. Massive new energy in marketing. CEO and CPO are connecting on culture being central to success.

    Cons

Being so successful has created some big egos. The car park says it all.

    Pros

Great office, perks, people. Lots of very smart people. Business is truly agile.

I have been working at REA Group full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Super flexible work arrangements and great salary! Good mentorship model and great opportunities for continuous learning.

    Cons

Due to the size and corporate nature of the company it is hard not to feel like a transactional resource that can be moved around the company (or cut entirely) at the drop of a hat. Additionally, trying to allow teams to work across multiple other teams' codebases seems like a great idea on paper, but leads to extremely high learning curves, low efficiency and inability to work in an agile fashion.

    Advice to Management

Be more transparent around re-structures and take the time to discuss potential changes with all employees, as I am sure there would be people who would be willing to take voluntary redundancies if that is necessary, and everyone would have preferences as to where they would be passionate about working in the company.

I worked at REA Group full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

    - Richmond location - majority nice people - good training

    Cons

    - middle management is insular and clickey, if you're 'in' great - talk up the 'family' yet redundancies happen regularly - culture and values discussed widely but not lived by at management level
