      Advice to Management

Don't listen to one side but two side.Manager and above don't really interact with operator to find out more about how they feel etc...Bcus they don't even know your name but just stay in office to do paper work and meeting.

      Pros

Bus transport islandwide but if u late, spend for taxi.

      Cons

Salary, but then 2 years no bonus and increment look like alms to the poor. Management do not listen to engineers. Projects committed in advance but no risk assessment. End up failing. Management not owning up to decision. Afraid to decide and end up finger pointing. Management not transparent.

I worked at REC Group full-time for more than a year

      Pros

For Engineers who are looking for learning opportunity. There are a lot to learn in REC. There are many varieties Of international companies machine where you can expose yourself to their machine design, automation and culture. You are able to meet vendor from China, Germany and etc. A great opportunity to hone your soft skills.

      Cons

Being an engineer expose yourself to Long and stressful working hours. You will need to follow up on issue through phone(whatsapp, phone calls) even after working hours. Sometime even during wee hours. Management sometime do not appreciate the effort done even after resolving issue late in the night. You still get reprimanded for not doing a good enough job.

      Advice to Management

      1. Consider shift for equipment engineer where they can have a better work life and health. 2. The amount of work done after work hours through phone are not paid and thus do appreciate the effort done by them. When most of the employee of REC are happily spending their time with family together. Equipment engineers are sacrificing these times for the company just so you can meet the output. 3. Do management ever hold...
