The company continues to bring some of the smartest most innovative folks in the health care business together. And we work with some of the very best clients in healthcare.
Cons
The pandemic has been tough on everyone because we're all used to spending a lot of time together. But we're slowly moving beyond it and feeling like there's a light at the end of the tunnel.

- Current Employee, more than 1 year★★★★★
Pros
Good pay Fun people Potential mentorship opportunities Cool clients
Cons
Management is disorganized and frankly out of touch - they focus on more senior staff retention and forget junior staff have lives. Town halls and pillar meetings are flat out not useful- constant promises of change but no change. The new CEO has no background in comms/ the industry and has essentially said in townhalls that he wants to make RC into a healthcare comms sweatshop. Pervasive feeling of never being enough, having enough clients, or enough companies under the RC umbrella - management is always looking to buy more, charge more, be more profitable. Micro-lens into billability as well. Also, no culture to speak of since Jim left.

Pros
Great benefits package Great remote/hybrid work model
Cons
For a company who is said to be “very big on mental health” and goes as far as even offering so many paid-for private personal therapy sessions a year per employee, they sure have no regard whatsoever when it comes to their employees’ mental well-being. HR lacks urgency and is non responsive when it comes to responding to borderline harassment claims even though the company has a “strict” no retaliation policy. Senior management consists of narcissistic & mentally unstable dictators who patronize their employees & see them as a threats as opposed to assets to their teams. They have little to no respect and zero interpersonal skills, this example of senior management referring to the payroll manager specifically. You can be directly threatened to your face, request a mediation with HR and they will tell you they understand your concerns, set up a meeting with you and reschedule it 5 times & for 4 weeks later while you walk on eggshells around your psychotic manager fearing for your job security. Even after expressing concerns multiple times and having multiple (atleast 3) other employees complain about the same thing (person) nothing is done in this company to improve on these issues as it is not seen as a priority. Would honestly never recommend working for this company as in the world we live in today, work-life balance & a healthy mentality is crucial and those qualities are not valued with this company.

Pros
Everyone is great, lots of collaborative minds.
Cons
Team is spread out across the country so you don't get to see everyone in person.

Pros
- Some very smart people - Interesting and diverse clients -4th Trimester program
Cons
Working at RC is like working in high school. There are definitely favorites (people who were there when it was Weisscom, W20, etc.) and those who aren't. People are pitted against each other. It makes it unbareable to come to work sometimes. I'm not sure what is up with the Jim Weiss worship/sucking up. Additionally, I'm not sure what this company wants to be. It started out as a comms agency, but acquires companies left and right with little strategy. The company grows too fast, and employees are left confused. What is this company trying to be?
