Decent Place to Work
18 Aug 2021 - Server/Waitress in Lansing, MIRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Always able to pick up shifts, quick decent money, flexible schedule, half the coworkers are good to work with
Cons
Half the coworkers are worthless, closers are not held accountable for not doing their jobs, most of the managers don't care or enforce others to do their jobs, 95% of the hosts have no clue what they are doing, servers aren't backed up by management are just expected to be treated horribly by customers without saying anything and then the customer gets free food for being awful to the server without tipping, no automatic gratuity for large parties or take out orders, have to split parties over 10 people

Decent workplace
29 Aug 2021 - Assistant Manager in Stroudsburg, PARecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Free meals on shift plus discount on off days. Internal promotions. Flexible scheduling.
Cons
Work load can be overwhelming and they will take advantage of any extra time or work you give them. They will squeeze everything out of those they think will give it to them. Management training is subpar at best. Unless you are salaried you get very little benefits outside the normal fulltime benefits.

Pros
Easy job, relatively flexible schedule, normally good about giving you days off as long as you ask in advance. Was a good job in high school and college.
Cons
No upward mobility if you are too young. You have to ask for pay raises or you never see them as a lower level employee.

Pros
Flexible schedule, and hours. Good money, but you definitely have to work for it. the team atmosphere makes the job a little more bearable.
Cons
Can be very unorganized especially on weekends during the peak, managers are inconsistent, and the way things are done constantly changes, and rarely for the better.

Pros
Flexible schedule, you get out of it what you put into it, they've upgraded their technology to increase sales.
Cons
Not everyone pulls their weight, certain people work harder and will make the same amount of money other people who don't work as hard do. Short staffed, not enough managers to support.
