Pros

Will get vast experience in Instrumentation & Electronics Engineering. Good work life balance. Company accomodation is nice. Team members are supporting.

Pros

Work life balance in reliance hydrocarbon section is good. Colleagues are quite supportive and ample time is given to complete a task. There are frequent recreational activities also held which helps in team building and freshening up one's mind. On the work front, most of the times there are no new projects that come up. Major portion of the work includes Modification of their existing plants at different sites which doesn't let one to explore other innovative things , but since work pressure is not much, one can invest time in self development and learning as sufficient softwares are provided. Canteens are good but then a bit on the costlier side.

Cons

The organisation needs to change some HR policies. For instance, the medical insurance offered is mandatory for every employee. The amount deducted from the salary is too high for this. Plus they have made it mandatory for employees to take the top-up plan also for insurance which resulted in more salary deductions. Choices should be given to employees rather than making such rules mandatory for everyone as everyone has different needs. Second is the variable pay which they call as Annual Cash Bonus. Now this amount is also deducted from the CTC which is given at the end of the financial year but not complete amount.

Challenging working atmosphere, Technological adoption and upgradation, exposure to study on the job and technical knowledge enhancement

Cons

Not a good corporate culture, dirty politics in all levels, task oriented culture not people oriented, no successor planning or people development, less training opportunities, no work life balance. Not good remuneration and annual increments even if company annual results are good.

Dear All, As per my experience I will suggest not to join Reliance Retail because you will not get support from the seniors, they think that they only genius in this organization. No work life balance.

There is no relationship between employees, employees working here as an individual. Managers giving very much pressure because they itself thinking that they are genius in the world Only showing their double role between employees and management

Yoe decide your career progression. If you are motivated, you will grow, if you are not, you can stay where you are for years. Great work life balance.

Too much hierarchy, implementing change is hard. Redundancy of work, many people are working on the same thing in different teams.
