Pros

The employees are generally very nice, depending on what office you work in. The culture is OK, and the insurance is great. The perks are good, nice work/life balance and middle management seems to be honest.

Cons

Executives seem locked in the processes and there doesn't seem to be very good innovation at the top. Extremely poor judgement for years has led to no funding and I can't see this company lasting much longer. Bad executive decisions abound and people all seem to be walking on egg shells. A clear sign when people start voluntarily leaving like flies - layoffs are near. And they were huge last time around as 50% of the staff is now gone.

Pros

Great customer portfolio. Leader in e-commerce recommendations.

Cons

The BOD is being completely irresponsible in their guidance to leadership. The company has no direction, no viable product plan, no understanding of the market. Why would you hire a CEO who hates retailers? All the leaders are just being busy till the portfolio gets sold or the doors closed whichever comes first. CLIENTS beware start finding an alternative.

Pros

The people are amazing, very smart, friendly, fun, and hard working. The products are very robust and really seem to be a cut above the rest. There was always a positive and fun atmosphere at the office. The company has a great mix of large retail clients.

Cons

Poorly managed, no transparency with employees and sometimes just downright lies. For instance, less than 2 months ago before laying off 40%, the management assured everyone that the employees have nothing to worry about before the end of the summer since there is enough cash until the end of the year. About a week ago without prior notice they laid off 40% of the employees and this only a couple of months after such a lavish retreat in California for the entire company. If they didn't fly everyone from across the globe out to Napa Valley, at least 4 or 5 people could have been spared or they could have afforded to take care of people a bit more than with the pathetically small severance package that was provided... Their choice of who to keep on and who to let go also raises some questions... Seniority, billability, revenue generation, product knowledge were not necessarily taken into account as much as high paid executives taking care of themselves and their immediate subordinates.
