    Pros

    Tuition reimbursement
    Company cellphone
    Decent benefits

    Cons

Bosch cannot he saved any longer. This is a dysfunctional family with 4 sisters feuding internally and the damage has been done. The four business units that make up Bosch make it incredibly hard to succeed if you are part of a shared service. Each unit only cares about their own bottom line. There is no semblance of a team. There is only individuals who want to be mommy and daddy’s favorite and they will claw and stab to get the spotlight. Even if that means still being the worst tool brand. This place is an extreme boys club with favoritism and an archaic system to promote. Most Group managers no longer have people to manage. Instead this place is full of people with over inflated titles and no value. There’s so many lifers that have been drinking the koolaid that will never be fired or leave, no matter how incompetent. This is truly one of the worst companies I’ve been apart of and I am ashamed to have stayed as long as I did. Everyone should be finding an exit strategy unless they are buddies with upper management.

    Advice to Management

Health. Family. Wealth. Is the motto, but does that apply to employees of all levels? Or is it just for those that sit in the board rooms. Open your eyes and take a look at the company turnover in the past year, there’s a reason why people are leaving. The great employees are tired of being overworked while others steal the promotion based on which VPs or directors they go to lunch with.

I have been working at Robert Bosch Tool Corporation full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Good benefits and fair pay. Talented individuals throughout the organization.

    Cons

Very poor leadership. The top level execs are very out of touch with the operations of their business, the workload of their employees, and do nothing to improve the culture. “Those who can not do, lead” is the secret motto among employees, because the lowest performers get promoted. Management is often someone who delegates their work and provides the least value, yet is rewarded with promotion.

    Advice to Management

When you stop centering a culture around the bottom line, the bottom line tends to grow with the improvement of culture. The amount of turn around is costing the business a great deal in the loss of knowledge and morale. You can say you promote work-life balance, but if you do nothing to ensure management upholds that value, then it’s just words. Talented people are leaving due to high stress and declining culture and that’s what’s damaging to the bottom line.

    Pros

There used to be. This market is not run by those who know how to do it. Those people were let go or passed over or not recognizied for their talent

    Cons

This company is so into thinking they are so right with who they have put in upper mgmt that they can’t see what is going on which is a complete twirlspin into losing their best asset the human resource
This location is being run by an individual who already sold off a division but believed so much in its success he didn’t go with it after he ran it in the first place Ask and answer your own question
The leadership team is like no other as they are the brightest and best and the reviews continue to tank. Again if the workforce was happy why would this happen? Is this true? Answer your own question ? What job postings are there? Not many answer your own question

    Advice to Management

Management sees their own bonus, their own future whatever that is. They are in whatever the plan is for themselves. There is no team or just having an upbeat environment. Why is that? Is this the employees’ fault? What is the true picture of what they are doing. What careers are posted? The evidence gives the answers. Is the majority all wrong or are you ? Time to look at what makes you feel good and what you are doing to people who are supppsed to be your greatest asset You sit in meetings all day and what results, responsiveness and respect come out of them ? How about logging that? If you make uoir bottom line by walking all over the people who helped you get there was this what Robert Bosch stood for? That would be a no

    Pros

    Lots of training available
    Advanced Technology to work with
    Structured
Great place to do internship for new graduates

    Cons

    Corporate Politics
    Nepotism
    No oportinity to grow
    Low pay
    No transparency
    JMP program

    Advice to Management

I’ve worked there for over 5 years and I realized in this company no matter how qualified you are you won’t get anywhere if you’re not connected to the CFO/CEO and their gang. Merit, intelligence and hardworking plays no role. There are so many under qualified people in management positions that you’ll be shocked how they got their jobs until you find out about those backing them off. If you’re ambitious to grow and go up, if you care about fairness and merits in promotions and compensations, if you think your voice should be heard regardless of your relationship with higher management, and if you are looking for a leader who doesn’t bail on you and your team for their own benefits, do not go work for Robert Bosch Tool Corporation. It is a dark place to work for in many aspects. Germany wants to control everything and they’re not very open to different ideas. Plus, they do not have very good understanding of US market when they make developement and operational decisions.
Get rid of JMP/PDT program they are mostly so much full of themselves when the know nothing about nothing they come and take all of the best positions although they’re mostly useless
