    Pros

Great corporate culture with plenty of opportunities to grow professionally. You'll find support and resources across all divisions of the company and will develop some of the best relationships. The company genuinely cares about you, as was reflected with their response to COVID, with plenty of mental health resources and fair compensation.

    Cons

    Not really much at all!

I have been working at Rogers Communications full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

There is a lot of overtime and the coworkers are nice, good health life benefits, nice culture and promoting diversity , discount is nice (50% off services ) and third party discounts for gym, apple, car insurance and a lot more etc. training is paid and good

    Cons

management dont care about how they treat you when you are a frontline worker, always makin excuses, they are not afraid to lay off anyone because they keep hiring all the time, employees are not treated very well if you work in the frontline (bad salary increase and variable pay bonus) stressful as performance is always monitored and it is severe and annoying

I have been working at Rogers Communications full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Hourly rate is decent. Company has since changed rules about employee benefits, OT/time bank, and vacation/stat holidays so be careful about how you are able to use this.

    Cons

For a company who advocates wellbeing, mental health, and family work-life balance, there is absolutely no real implemented support for employees. They force your hand through the ridiculous to-the-second adherence policy (which is used to calculate scorecard bonuses) and will cancel out your monthly payout. Senior management only cares about how many workers are "online" so that their metrics are met. Moving up is a political game. The development program has some decent opportunities, but getting in is all about favouritism -- if you are well liked or are friends with upper management, you're on the right trajectory. For a brief period, I did enjoy working here. I performed well at my job, and I was well liked by management, but there were too many negative factors that were not being addressed by HR which ultimately forced me to leave the company. Basically -- it's a job. If you need the money and won't sweat the toxic work culture, it's manageable.

I worked at Rogers Communications full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Coworkers and managers were generally kind and supportive and fun to be around. You also get access to nice staff discounts and wealth accumulation perks are great, particularly share bonuses as years of service increase. Good benefits package too.

    Cons

Very tight rules around when you can leave your desk, meaning no ability to set your own working pace. Overall contributes to a feeling of lack of control and being ground down.

  9. "Decent Place to Work"

    4.0
Former Employee - Senior Business Process Improvement Analyst in Toronto, ON

I worked at Rogers Communications full-time

    Pros

Some departments are great to work with, depends on who you're reporting Manager is. Benefits are not bad, etc...pay is not bad, but there are some politics and favoritism depending on who you know in order to get ahead there.

    Cons

Keep yourself updated constantly and provide support where ever is needed, even if it doesn't involve your job directly. They like people who are willing to go above and beyond and help others if and when needed. Don't expect a raise for it, if you do get one it will take forever unless your manager loves you OR if you suck up to the right people.

I worked at Rogers Communications full-time for less than a year

    Pros

NONE (okay fine, the pay is not too bad but for the pain and suffering I went through on the daily, that pay wasn't enough) You also get health and dental

    Cons

You are micro managed beyond imagination. You are treated like a child, you are coached and punished for every and the least little thing, You are measured by these stats that's sometimes' impossible to achieve. Literally all they care about is money. They don't care about your mental health. or you, you're just a number to them. I literally have a mental breakdown every day. They pretend like they care about us but they really don't GAF. You're measured by even something as silly as transferring a call, yes thats right- you're not allowed to transfer calls even though you are not trained to handle most situations. You will end up hating your manager (so annoying), your manager's manager. In fact, I hate the CEO too and I don't even know the guy. You guys should be ashamed of how your workers are treated. They always talk about there are lots of career opportunities within the company, BS! If only the customers would know a lot of us workers hate the company as much as they do but in these hard times, we gotta do what we gotta do right?! Would I recommend working there? Umm no. Well if you wish to suffer, go right ahead.
