Culture that actively promotes bullying and control issues

Pros

Personal Trainer. Swag provided by marketing. some WFH abilities.

Cons

Employees are run rampant with management encouraging scapegoating and actively hostile and bullying towards other employees. The type of language that's being allowed in emails is atrocious - it appears that everyone forgot how to use their 'nice words' as time has gone on and management will do absolutely nothing about it. It's shameful. I have also witnessed team leads and management actively attempt to sabotage other employees because they don't like them, such as leaving them off vital emails, or throwing responsibilities on them because they simply don't want to do the work CORRECTLY. It's heart breaking to witness this middle school behavior after the company seemed to be doing so well. I have told my fellow employees that they absolutely have cases for hostile work environments should they so decide to pursue. It's disgusting and has only gotten worse over the past year.

Pros

Bonus (not guaranteed), WFH scheduling, Independence

Cons

There's a lot. Management wants you to be vulnerable and honest, but all that does is set a target on your back, Hard to be progressive in a positive way knowing this. CEO is full of himself and pretends to care about his people and customers, when in reality all he cares about is profit (shocker). The COO can barely form a sentence without using a million filler words and overtalks absolutely everyone so you can never get your point across. They promise a lot with no delivery on an operations standpoint. Management likes to dismiss actual issues and pass blame whenever possible, they love scapegoats. They're only transparent with issues they want you to know about. "Accountability" is a core value yet no one truly does it. They paint a pretty picture with lots of promises, don't fall for it. They want you to be "intellectually curious" so you can do more work at the same pay. It gets "top workplace awards" but yet for anyone who has worked there knows that's fabricated. If you do end up working there always cover yourself and keep evidence of your work, you'll probably feel like you're walking on egg shells most days. Lots of cliques with management favoring those in it. This place is the fakest of the fake, all i can say is be cautious and don't say you haven't been warned. The turnover rate is probably ridiculous, but they'd never admit that and ruin their "perfect" image.

Tragic Decline in Ethics

Pros

Work from Home options, Located in a beautiful part of Lakewood, Ohio.

Cons

Currently this company promotes poor preformance of individuals who walk around talking about everyone else's jobs and issues, instead of working on the abundance of unresolved work that needs done. Problems with upper management is not addressed and handled with appropriate action. You are told you are the problem when bringing up grievances of an ethical nature. The current COO is condescending, incompetent and shows no consideration for the high level of damage she has done in the short amount of time she has been there. They currently have a huge ethics problem in several of their departments, and instead of addressing the individuals, they brush it under the rug. Employees are asked to write good reviews here on glassdoor and other outlets to try an overshadow the truths that are being told. It is desperate and pathetic. Good employees are sacrificed because they have their own mind and thoughts and try to address problems and solve issues. Two week notices are given when issuing a proper resignation, and instead you are asked to leave. No exit interviews are preformed to see if they can right the wrongs that are being done to employees who have been loyal to the company for multiple years. It has been sad to see the decline in a company that once valued their good employees. Now they promote people who have no experience in the industry to positions they are not qualified for, and ask the current employees to take on more work then they are physically capable of doing. It is an extremely toxic environment to work and would highly advise you to look elsewhere, its not worth the anxiety medication you eventually will have to go on to cope with constantly looking over your shoulder to see who will stab you in the back next.
