I have been working at SAP full-time

      Pros

Work life balance, ample opportunities for employees early on in their career

      Cons

Segregation based on your college. IITians work in data science posts whereas graduates from other colleges are given jobs pertaining to testing, Java, ABAP or UI development. IITians are also paid 5 lacs more than graduates from other colleges. You'd assume that these IIT graduates are smarter and more hard working than the others but mostly not the case. Hence, this distinction seems unfair.

      Advice to Management

      Nothing really.

      Pros

      - Free Food - Free Transport - Car lease policy - Work Pressure 'can' be avoided - Good Campus - Good job security - Good amount of Leaves get approved - Great team outings

      Cons

      - Average Employees - Management into politics - Employee lack vision - Talent Recognition is very bad - India location treated as low cost resource center and are deprived of real r&d - Ideas always flow top-down in employee hierarchy. Ideas from bottom do not ever grow big - Open source technologies are wrapped into in house technologies - Growth of skill in technology is bad - SAP is closed world, exploring...

I worked at SAP full-time for more than a year

      Pros

Good Work life balance Nice perks Well maintained pantry Join here if your planning to retire and learn and brush up your politics not career

      Cons

Politics No growth(As most of the projects are old and running from a long time) Would be stuck in SAP world including technologies, they are still not open to free world technologies. Higher management just pure politics(more than the US an INDIAN politics)

      Advice to Management

HR management needs to revisit and build the trust of employees(Who wants to build new project and ideas). Most of the positive rating with 5 is good, I don't deny, only because no one wants to improvise but just keep the company as is and be settled. Look many unicorns outside also many MNC are trying to constantly improvise their approcah
